SOULS IN THE CITY OF THE BLACK SWAN

My intention is to highlight those individuals who are an inherent part of my community. Living in the city of Perth, has made me identify the cultural and social diversity that exists in the same environment and how each of these individuals interact with each other in different ways while maintaining their cultural identity and fulfilling a specific function to make the system that we live in to remain the way we know it.

I have had the opportunity to live in Perth CBD which is a busier area compared to the other neighbourhoods in Perth. It is an area with a multicultural community which makes it special since it is very peaceful, and its inhabitants respect each other to live in harmony.

I have lived in this area for about 3 years and its energy is highly positive, the people who are part of the community have integrated in such a way that there is no cultural barrier that allows interaction between individuals and at the same time is based on respect for the other.

There are various forms of entertainment for families, children and adults as there are parks, green areas and there is not too much traffic congestion. One of the greatest cultural references in the city is concentrated in this area, since there are libraries, museums, art galleries and different activities organised by the council to share with family, friends or individually.

Perth CBD can be seen as an area that is characterized by housing the financial and executive part of the city, characterized by its buildings where all that financial world that moves the economic wheel of the region is managed. However, once the night comes, it becomes a solitary and quiet area where shops also close their doors on an early night to give way to rest and prepare to give way to a new day. It is in this way that I want to emphasize that despite the fact that Perth CBD is an area dedicated to the commercial and financial part, it is the day-to-day people who are in charge of giving life to it and these people are the individuals walking through the city or gathering in groups, having a coffee or having a meal or also doing their best in their jobs trying to improve their quality of life making possible to live peacefully and harmoniously.
Perth CBD is one of the most interesting areas that I have had the opportunity to get to know since it houses a great cultural diversity that allows those who like human interaction, learn about culture, religion, politics and other interesting things since the community is willing to share their life stories and tales. It is the faces, the smiles, the eyes that shine on people, a greeting, a farewell or a hug that make it possible to live in a community that offers a more human experience. This is a community that is worth celebrating for its humanity and not stop fighting to live from day to day.
